China CNCA has announced a standard update for Household and similar Appliances and Equipment. The new national standard is GB/T 4706.1-2024, and will officially be instated August 1st, 2026.
- The standards listed on the <Implementation Rules for Mandatory Product Certification for Household and Similar Equipment (No. : CNCA-C07-01:24)> are already upgraded (see chart below).
- All designated certification bodies shall perform China CCC certification for household and similar appliances and equipment in accordance with the new version of the standard.
- Motor/compressor (Product Type Code 0704) applies to China CCC self-declaration category. The manufacture needs to complete the standard upgrade application according to China SDoC rules.
