UL Now Can Create and Develop Canadian Standards

UL has recently been accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) as one of only two standards development organizations based outside of Canada.  The accreditation enables UL to create and develop Standards for Canada along with fully harmonized bi-national standards for the U.S. and Canadian marketplace, enabling more efficient manufacturer access to valuable markets.  Between U.S. and Canada, the two countries have the world’s largest bi-lateral trade agreements, with total trade exceeding $500 billion annually.
