This Telecom Equipment Certification (TEC) is valid for five (5) years. Test reports from TEC-accredited labs or test labs of MRA partner countries can be used to obtain TEC in lieu of testing. These test reports must be valid within one (1) year. Customers will also be able to obtain series or family certifications but will need to meet specific parameters. It is to be noted that Telecom Equipment Certification must be done prior to the sale and import of telecom equipment into India.
