UL PPP – UL Preferred Partner Program
G&M Compliance, Inc. is one of very few companies to have been accepted into the UL Preferred Partner Program (UL PPP) under UL High-Tech Division (ITE). This program enables manufacturers to work seamlessly between G&M Compliance and UL to receive a complete suite of services required to get to market quickly and economically.
What is UL PPP?
UL Preferred Partners are invited into a highly collaborative relationship with UL, and have market differentiation from traditional UL Agents. Preferred Partners are assessed and allowed by UL to provide additional services supporting the certification process. Combining those services with G&M’s own value-added services provides a unique and highly efficient Regulatory Compliance solution package for manufacturers. To help accomplish this, UL provides Preferred Partners with additional training, dedicated engineering resources, and customer service support.
“Preferred Partners are independent third party companies working with UL to jointly serve customers in matters relating to the product categories for which the company has been qualified, including but not limited to: correspondence, new work applications, file maintenance, engineering evaluation and test data. While the Preferred Partner ‘owns’ the day-to-day customer relationship, it does not act as the customer’s agent”.
UL established its first Preferred Partner in mid-2009
