What is the NEBS Belcore?

NEBS (Network Equipment Building Systems) testing is a requirement for telecom equipment to be deployed in a central office facility. Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs) require the tests to insure network integrity and continuous operation of the network. The standards most commonly required are Bellcore GR-1089-CORE and GR-63-CORE. G&M Compliance Laboratory offers expert testing to these standards.

Reliability of the telephone system is considered a national security issue, is demanded by consumers and makes good business sense.
